Network Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team for a 6-month onsite role. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Palo Alto, Wireless, and IPSec VPN, with strong hands-on experience in Cisco SDA or ACI. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving P1 issues in a 24/7 factory production environment using packet capture. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Expertise in implementing and supporting Cisco ACI (policy model, contracts, EPGs, fabric troubleshooting). Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Palo Alto Firewalls, including Security policies, NAT, routing, VPN (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access), Panorama management, and threat prevention profiles. Experience in managing and supporting enterprise wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent), including RF optimization, roaming, and high-density deployments. Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, including third-party interoperability. Administer Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), including grid management, failover, and automation integration. Strong L3 troubleshooting experience in resolving P1 issues using real-time packet capture skills (Wireshark). Prior work experience at client or in client's industry. Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, multicast. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner. Resourceful, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot Level 3 and advanced network issues, ensuring issues are resolved with appropriate solutions in a high-pressure factory environment. Investigate causes, test solutions, and suggest solutions to reduce the time taken to resolve network-related tickets. Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades. Lead and drive technical operational issues independently in a high-pressure environment, engaging multiple stakeholders during live troubleshooting. Assist Level 1 and Level 2 resources in addressing network-related issues. Company Benefits & Culture:
