Job Responsibilities
Manage and maintain complex IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
Collaborate with leaders from other departments to ensure seamless integration and support.
Design and implement IT solutions to meet business requirements and enhance efficiency.
Lead and manage IT projects, overseeing all aspects from planning to implementation.
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to other IT team members.
Conduct system audits to assess compliance with security and data privacy regulations.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT.
Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post‑secondary education
Work Experience: 5 years IT or computer technology experience with Bachelor’s Degree OR 3 years IT or computer technology experience with Master’s Degree
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on database administration experience
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to participate in an on‑call rotation; ability to support off‑hours when needed
Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI; this position does not offer remote or hybrid work and does not include relocation assistance.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication skills with ability to engage technical and non‑technical audiences
Experience working at Haworth (or similar corporate environment)
Experience with Business Intelligence and data warehousing design/support
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Manufacturing industry experience
Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities
Seasoned DBA with deep knowledge of database administration practices
Experience with system maintenance, performance tuning, and large‑scale upgrades
Proven support of high‑availability, business‑critical systems
Comfortable working with Oracle databases
Experience in manufacturing or similar corporate environments
Exposure to business intelligence and data warehousing
Quick learner with ability to adapt to new technologies and tools
