Provides first-aid treatment and case management for musculoskeletal complaints, which includes the use of ice, heat and wellness stretches, massages, tape techniques, and the knowledge of non-rigid bracing Provides orthopedic injury assessments, covering such areas as, but not limited to, history, observation, palpation, range of motion, manual muscle strength, reflex testing, myotomes, dermatomes, and special tests Perform assessments and interventions on the factory floor and lineside with employees, care coordination and communication with on-site medical providers Electronic documentation for all encounters which may include reports, newsletters, or training materials Create an environment of trust and care, allowing workers to take responsibility to reduce or eliminate actions under their control that contribute to injury and illness Develop and lead group and individual training sessions focusing on functional movement patterns, specific job simulations, and educational programs for occupational health/ safety Use innovative, creative solutions and employee empowerment to design and implement early symptom interventions. What You'll Bring Degree in Athletic Training (from an accredited program), or equivalent experience Board Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) and State Licensure/Certification/Registration Current First Aid and AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers certification is required Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Minimum 1 year ATC working experience preferred Experience in Occupational Health and Safety, Ergonomics and knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
