Define and implement automation best practices aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements.
Build andmaintaintest automation frameworks from theground upto ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.
Evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve QA efficiency and effectiveness.
Test Design, Execution & Data Validation Design, develop, andmaintaintest scenarios, test cases, and automated test scripts within CI/CD pipelines.
Utilize test management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps and JIRA Xray to manage test execution and reporting.
Implement web automation using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress, and perform API testing using Postman,ReadyAPI, Karate, REST Assured, or similar tools.
Design, execute, andmaintaintests for backend data pipelines in Databricks, validating ETL processes, data transformations, and data quality.
CI/CD Integration & Agile Collaboration Partner with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and engineering leaders to proactivelyidentifyrisks,troubleshootissues, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Participatein Agile (Scrum) environments, applying Test-Driven Development (TDD)andimplementing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives,providingQA insights and advocating for quality alignment.
Team Leadership, Metrics & Process Improvement Mentor andprovidetechnical guidance to QA engineers, promoting automation best practices and coding standards.
Assistwith project planning and contribute to QA effort estimation to supportaccuratedelivery timelines.
Ensure consistency in test case management, defect tracking, and reporting methodologies across projects.
Track and report key QA metrics, including defect leakage, automation coverage, and test cycle time.
Requirements Qualifications Authorized to work in the United States (no current or future visa sponsorship available).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Scienceor equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 5+ years of hands‑on test automation experience.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and CI/CD practices.
Proficiencyin one or more programming languages: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium (mobile), and API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, orReadyAPI.
Experiencevalidatingand testing backend data pipelines in Databricks, including ETL workflows, data transformations, and data quality checks.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
Solid understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or SQLite.
Proven ability to analyze requirements, design test strategies, and write and execute comprehensive test cases.
Strong skills in defect reporting, root cause analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Nice to Have Experience with load and stress testing.
Experience with API performance testing.
Exposure topenetration or application security testing.
Experience with contract testing.
Mobile application testing experience (iOS and Android).
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB.
Additionalexperience testing backend ETL data pipelines.
