About the Position Counter Sales associate at GPC in Parker, CO. Full time (R26_0000016164). We are a NAPA family store looking for dedicated retail talent.
What you will be doing
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone.
Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members in answering customer questions.
Deliver outstanding customer care and positive interactions with everyone who enters our store.
Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-pace stores.
Welcome retail customers and engage to provide a positive consumer experience.
Utilize technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system.

Have gained parts experience in the automotive industry or through hands-on work with cars and trucks.
Willing to learn all things automotive if you lack prior background.

What you’ll need
Valid driver’s license.
Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts.
High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort in fast-pace retail environments.
Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
Additional desirable qualifications (not required)
Background or passion for the automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership sectors.
Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision environment.
Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
Entirely customer-centric mindset.
ASE certifications.
