The SEO Specialist is an early‑career SEO/AEO and content strategy professional who supports organic visibility across our brand web experience. You’ll help monitor search health, identify opportunities to improve performance, and translate insights into clear, optimized briefs and content recommendations.
This role is primarily focused on brand‑level topic ideation and content development (roughly 80%), with a secondary focus (roughly 20%) partnering consultatively with product marketing teams to improve content and surface major visibility gaps. Over time, you’ll be expected to write or co‑write select content pieces, while also leveraging contracted copywriter support when needed.
What you’ll be doing
Monitor and report on SEO/AEO performance through a regular cadence, tracking key metrics, trends, risks, and opportunities
Maintain dashboards and performance summaries to inform prioritization and support cross‑functional stakeholders
Translate insights into an optimization backlog, recommending on‑page, content, internal linking, and technical improvements
Develop search‑informed content strategies by analyzing demand, intent, and competitive gaps
Create clear, optimized content briefs for new content, refreshes, and campaigns to guide writers and partners
Write or co‑write select content and collaborate with internal teams and external copywriters as needed
Stay current on AI‑driven and answer‑based search experiences, helping make content more "answer‑ready" and discoverable
Serve as an internal SEO/AEO advisor by providing guidance, enablement resources, and ongoing support to cross‑functional teams
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
1+ years of experience in SEO (and/or AEO), content marketing, or digital marketing
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Semrush or similar tools required
Hands‑on experience contributing to content briefs, content optimization, and/or publishing workflows
Comfort collaborating with writers, marketers, and web teams to implement improvements and track results
Ability to use data and curiosity to find opportunities, ask good questions, and validate assumptions before recommending action
Communicates clearly—able to explain SEO/AEO recommendations to non‑specialists and align partners on next steps
Takes initiative to move work forward, from identifying a topic gap to delivering a brief and supporting execution
