Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve Tier 1 (Help Desk) problems.
Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Provide in‑depth troubleshooting experience for IT systems.
Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
Support the dispatch system and hardware problems; remain involved in the resolution process.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; install/load OS software; troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components; implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
Possess a working knowledge of system administration interdependencies as part of a Service‑Oriented Architecture.
Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Qualifications
Fifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), LevelI.
Security Clearance Qualified applicants must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $122,000 – $253,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Medical, vision, and dental insurance; 401(k) plan; paid time off; holidays; additional insurances; educational assistance; child/adult backup care.
