Job Overview Part‑Time HP Retail Sales Associate – Pay: $18.50 per hour. Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week, primarily Saturday & Sunday, with flexible Friday options. Location: Best Buy 12 – Saint Cloud, MN 56301 and surrounding office supply stores. Benefits include next‑day pay on demand with DailyPay, paid online training, and $25 per month technology reimbursement. Responsibilities Assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in big‑box retailers and surrounding office supply stores. Demonstrate HP products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs. Build rapport with customers and maintain professional relationships with store management and employees. Train retail store associates on HP products and services. Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo‑readiness. Report and provide competitive insights. Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments. Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees. Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis. Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs. Advise customers by providing information on products and services. Help customers make selections by building customer confidence. Accurately document and report sales. Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations. Ensure workstation/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional, and presentable at all times. Submit all paperwork completely and accurately. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality. Be a problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiast with an outgoing personality and eager to learn. Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training. Experience in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs. Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus. Training or product demonstration experience is a plus. One‑year job experience required.
