Senior Sales Executive – Business Development (Issuance) The Senior Sales Executive – Business Development (Issuance) will be responsible for the development and execution of plans to enable the growth and acceleration of our Payments & Identity strategic solutions. Responsibilities Customer / Partner Sales Engagement (65%) Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects/targets and their position in the industry. Research and analyze market, competitors, strategies, sales options, including partnerships/alliances and channel plays. Sell by establishing contact and developing relationships with partners and alliances. Creation and presentation of key sales materials to key partners. Act as liaison for key partners and internal SMEs from Entrust Payments solutions (IFI, DCS, IDV/KYC, etc.), organize and coordinate team selling including account managers, bid management and technical resources. Contribute to account planning and forecasting for channel business. Develop relationships with partner resources and maintain deep understanding of partner’s profile and evolution to influence strategies related to product development and pursue defined opportunities. Drive and close sales; jointly accountable for achievement of quarterly and annual commitments. Organizational Engagement (25%) Stay abreast of new product or capabilities development that can impact or benefit partner sales activity. Participate in marketing and product activities that require input from sales. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of competitive offerings within the marketplace. Develop and maintain close relationships to associations and other entities that may impact the vertical markets covered by the team. Leverage pipeline building, tracking and financial planning solutions through timely and comprehensive use of the CRM system and other reports/tools available. Create annual/quarterly business plans and reviews to ensure performance against plan and strategic imperatives. Accurately forecast orders and manage funnel of opportunities. Leadership (10%) Build strong and open cross-functional relationships with superiors, peers and team to coordinate resources. May act as escalation point to resolve complex issues. Lead a multidisciplinary team with one or more account managers. Recommend and implement process improvements. Basic Qualifications Track record of consultative selling and team selling. 5+ years’ experience in business‑to‑business sales capacity or equivalent. 5+ years’ enterprise sales experience providing platform and/or custom solutions to financial services/payment industry. Successful track record of developing sales, service, bid management and solutions delivery. Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, partners and colleagues. Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US. Bachelor’s degree. Travel Requirements: up to 30% domestic, with some international travel expected. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in the Payment Card Issuance industry. Prior experience in the Banking and Payments industry. Prior experience in Business Consulting. Compensation Range The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $106,873 – $156,747 per year (in the primary posting location). Additional variable pay via a sales compensation plan is also available, based on achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
