Overview The IT Systems/Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging business needs with technical solutions. This position is responsible for translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and driving standardized processes across the IT organization.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of business priorities, and the ability to recommend and implement effective technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Project Managers across multiple organizations to track project progress, identify risks, communicate status updates, and assess business impacts.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, budgets, and project inventories.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to deliver consistent, standardized, and high-performing solutions.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, reports, and solutions that improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Engage regularly with business stakeholders to communicate project progress, challenges, and accomplishments.
Manage changing requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives and priorities.
Partner with Quality Assurance, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to ensure successful delivery and business acceptance of solutions.
Conduct business process analysis and document current-state and future-state workflows, systems, and requirements.
Develop use cases, functional specifications, process flows, wireframes, and other artifacts to support solution design and communication.
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong IT knowledge and domain expertise related to systems development and enhancement.
Excellent collaboration, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience working in Agile environments, including eliciting, documenting, and refining requirements into user stories (preferably using Gherkin syntax).
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
