The Assistant Sales Manager assists in managing a branch real estate sales office, working closely with the Sales Manager to develop and validate plans, policies, and objectives; review and comment on policies, programs, and operating procedures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Support the sales manager in recruiting, selecting, training, and motivating sales associates and support staff to achieve branch goals.
Provide leadership in all support and sales associate areas to ensure accomplishment of position objectives.
Assist with supervisory duties, including employee safety, selection, development, counseling, motivation, and salary administration.
Help administer the department budget and report departmental performance.
Partner with the sales manager to develop, recommend, and implement programs and long‑range objectives that enhance business strategy and drive success in new construction, market share, and existing home sales.
Track sales revenue, customer numbers, associate productivity, and district market share; maintain internal audit controls and standards.
Ensure working conditions, space, equipment, and environment maximize associate effectiveness.
Participate in community activities and professional associations to promote the company positively.
Act as Sales Manager in their absence.
Assist with regional recruiting efforts (career nights, mailings, advertisements, materials, and interviews).
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Two or more years of real estate experience, including supervisory/management experience.
Experience handling real estate transactions and knowledge of legal obligations of Realtors under state and federal laws and industry codes.
Licensed Realtor with a goal of obtaining a broker’s salesperson license.
Degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent knowledge and work experience preferred.
Experience in a business‑related field, professional management training, or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, project management, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and detail orientation.
Continuing education credits in real estate and management.

Wage: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience.
