Role We are looking for a salesperson who will be responsible for hunting and growing new accounts for Magic EdTech in North America. The primary responsibilities will include:
Sell into Higher Education, Workforce EdTech, or Certification / Test-Prep companies.
Should have existing relationships with leaders of these companies.
Identify and crystalize latent needs for custom services engagements like platform implementation, managed services, or AI-enabled automation.
Close multi-year IT services or outsourcing deals within sales cycles of 4 to 8 months.
Be able to carry and deliver a $4M+ annual new-business quota.
Work with stakeholders throughout to identify and understand the market tendencies or disruptions and be able to react to those changes with suitable solutions.
Possess knowledge of EdTech/ Learning standards like SCORM, xAPI, LTI, QTI, WCAG accessibility, and FERPA.
Willingness to travel up to 30% within North America.
Qualifications
5 years of B2B enterprise sales experience in Technology solutions sales, or outsourcing services sales.
Minimum 2 years in a hunter role with self-sourced pipeline; new logo acquisition is non-negotiable.
Experience selling onshore/offshore blended delivery models and global capability center (GCC) engagements.
Background at an IT services firm, with an EdTech vertical.
Familiarity with HECVAT, SOC2, and enterprise procurement/vendor onboarding processes.
Exposure to AI/GenAI.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results.
Ability to create and deliver presentations.
