To identify and act upon opportunities for revenue, includes guest reservations, Private Events, large group reservations, repeat guests, VIGs, potential guests, and additional revenue streams. The SRM is responsible for driving sales, maximizing occupancy, and impacting profitability in the assigned restaurant(s) through efficiency, productivity, Guest Experience and High Touch.
Work Performed
Responsible for generating new and repeat guest reservations:
Tasks related to this can include reviewing upcoming and past reservations data
Working knowledge of Tripleseat, OpenTable, OT Relationship Management, and GLP programs
Coordinate with FOH managers to be a steward of the Guest Experience
Identify and act upon opportunities for High Touches
Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries for Private Events, through phone, email and CRM (currently Tripleseat) and complete the sales cycle
Private Events consist of business dinners/meetings, banquets, social events, and the like held in a Private Event Space
Meet with Private Event Guests to discuss requirements for the event, such as number of guests, appropriate room, room set‑up needs, menu choices and costs. Confers about other services such as decorations, flowers, photographer, audiovisual, music or other entertainment. Coordinates arrangements and ensures execution for all such aspects
Draws up contract with guests covering all the agreed upon services and terms
Develop and keep a line of communication with Managers, service staff and kitchen through effective use of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communication systems
Sends out post‑event thank‑you, gifts, etc.
3.Proactively manage the book in OpenTable to maximize occupancy
4.Ability to prepare and analyze reports in regard to sales data
5.Be knowledgeable of restaurant operations
6.Other duties as assigned by the Dir of Sales or GM
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk during 8- to 10‑hour shifts
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and wipe to perform essential job functions
Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 40 pounds and place items on high and low shelves
Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
Professional image and demeanor
Required Skills
Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to deal with demanding situations and personalities.
Highly skilled in Microsoft operating systems and required programs.
Energetic, competitive, hardworking, and bring a strong work ethic and a good sense of responsibility.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and unexpected occurrences.
Detail-oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize.
Required Experience
Preferred hospitality or restaurant experience.
Required Education 4-year degree or equivalent experience required
