Summary As a SPIN Event Sales Manager, you not only sell the experience, you seek to improve upon it—consistently. What’s that mean? You do more than just turn inquiries into booked events (although that will be critical to your success). You work your phone, email and social network aggressively to close inquiries. You help refine and define the SPiN experience by conducting site visits, entertaining potential clients, and coordinating with our Operations Team to ensure our events are executed with world‑class precision. Essential Functions
Respond to all inquiries, transforming those inquiries into booked events.
Bring the experience to life by speaking with ease and authority on the features and benefits of SPiN’s unique venue features and event packages.
Meet or exceed monthly Sales Team Goals; take direction well and understand what it means to lead and to be a solid supporting cast member for our Director of Sales (to whom you’ll report along with the General Manager).
Assist the Director of Sales in preparing for trade shows, sales missions, and promotional events.
Seek out and identify opportunities for proactive account management.
Work with clients to plan, coordinate, and ensure that booked events are world‑class experiences.
Cultivate client relationships during and after events to increase retention business.
Qualifications
Experience—at least 3 years in an Event Sales role.
A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Hospitality).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to own and resolve problems.
Detail‑oriented mindset.
Hospitality experience—great if you have it, not a deal breaker otherwise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and work processing applications.
Experience with booking software platforms such as Seven Rooms and Tripleseat (bonus but not required).
