To build and scale core systems for crypto trading, the full-time Staff Software Engineer, Backend will design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend infrastructure for the Advanced Trading team, working remotely with quarterly in-person sessions.
Key responsibilities
Own the design, development, and reliability of backend systems serving global traders
Build architecture that supports multiple trading instruments and scales with demand
Lead technical projects, ensuring high standards for code quality and system design
Required qualifications
8+ years of backend software engineering experience with ownership of production services
Proven experience designing and scaling high-availability, low-latency distributed systems
Experience leading complex technical projects and making architecture decisions
Deep proficiency in at least one backend language, preferably Golang, and experience with datastores like MongoDB or Redis
Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and improve engineering culture
