Key Responsibilities
Responsible for initial review of information security alerts, provides analysis, determines and tracks remediation, and escalates as appropriate. Conducts review and triage utilizing experience with endpoint detection and response tools.
Operates the Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and other data analysis platforms with assistance and oversight from other members of the security team.
Prepares and updates operational metrics on various dashboards and reporting tools ensuring that stakeholders have appropriate situational awareness of the security posture.
Monitors various threat intelligence sources maintaining situational awareness of current and evolving threats. Uses knowledge of La‑Z‑Boy information systems and threats to inform the threat surface of the systems.
Responsible for conducting security testing and assessments supporting the change management and system development life cycle processes. Uses tools to perform penetration and application testing in accordance with defined parameters. Uses INFOSEC best‑practices and principles to assess network protocols, architectures, equipment, services, standards and technology security posture.
May provide support and participate in IT investigations.
Scope & Impact This position supports cybersecurity to the enterprise including manufacturing, retail, England, Joybird, and Casegoods. Works with infrastructure and operations to mitigate risks, identify opportunities to strengthen our systems, and stop hackers from infiltrating La‑Z‑Boy systems.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Security or related, with 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent
Security+ Certification
Detail oriented
Good analytical skills
Experience handling confidential information
Some project management experience
Up to 10% Travel
Preferred Requirements
Experience supporting end user desktop
Network experience
Supervisory Responsibilities None
