ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Covering basic Help Desk duties.
Assisting with both hardware and software issues.
Maintaining printers, scanners, copiers, VOIP, and audiovisual systems.
Assisting with network and server installation.
CORE COMPETENCIES
Troubleshooting.
Network security.
Customer Relations.
EMPLOYEES OF THE ASSOCIATION OF FORMER STUDENTS
Participate in various Association-wide activities such as engagement and fundraising goals, internal event teams, task committees, attending gameday receptions, Distinguished Alumni Gala and other external events as required.
Serve as an ambassador by meeting our Team Expectations, fostering relationships with students and other constituents of Texas A&M.

REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Proficient with Windows operating system.
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Classroom or workplace exposure to working with computer peripherals.
Classroom or workplace exposure to working with audiovisual equipment.
Knowledge of basic troubleshooting techniques.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Completed coursework in network security theory.
PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit or stand for long periods on occasion and carry objects up to 20 pounds at events. Ability to work at a desk with frequent use of keyboard and monitor.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIRED Currently enrolled in university technology-related coursework.
PREFERRED Currently enrolled as a student at Texas A&M in College Station in a technology-related degree program.
