Senior Data Engineer
to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms that support analytics, marketing, and business intelligence initiatives across the organization. This role will play a critical part in modernizing legacy data workflows, enabling cloud-native architectures, and partnering closely with analytics, marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted, actionable data solutions. What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using
Snowflake, Azure, dbt, and Apache Airflow
Lead the migration and modernization of legacy ETL workflows (Informatica, Oracle, SQL Server) into cloud-native architectures
Build and optimize ELT/ETL processes for structured and semi-structured data from internal and external sources
Develop and manage Snowflake data models, including performance tuning, clustering strategies, and cost optimization
Implement dbt models following analytics engineering best practices including testing, documentation, and version control
Orchestrate workflows and dependencies using Apache Airflow
Integrate and support marketing data pipelines, including Adobe Campaign and related marketing technologies
Partner with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Marketing teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions
Ensure data quality, lineage, and observability through monitoring, validation, and alerting frameworks
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards, architecture discussions, and best practices
Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve scalability, performance, and reliability across the data ecosystem
Qualifications Experience & Technical Skills
6+ years of experience supporting data warehouse and data engineering environments
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ELT architecture
Hands-on experience building and supporting cloud-based data solutions
Experience working in hybrid environments spanning legacy systems and modern cloud platforms
Experience integrating external vendor data via APIs, web services, and XML-based sources
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile project management tools

Total Rewards The base salary range for this role is
$140,000–$150,000 annually
for employees based in Boston, MA. Final compensation may vary and will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus and first-class benefits, which include:
