Location- Hybrid (Fremont, CA or Hollister, CA) Pay rate- $60-75/hr on W2 Position- 1 Position Type- Contract Interview- 2 Rounds About role: We need an experienced Network Engineer to design and build highly reliable networks for our autonomous aircraft remote supervision systems. You'll work hands-on creating network architectures for our labs and ground systems, ensuring everything stays connected and safe for urban air mobility operations. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in routing/switching (especially Juniper), high-availability design, and protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EVPN-VXLAN. You'll prototype lab environments, manage firewall policies, work with external suppliers, and ensure our systems meet aviation safety standards. We value someone who's self-motivated, can work through ambiguity, communicates well across technical and non-technical teams, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves for hands-on configuration work. Aerospace or safety-critical systems experience is a bonus.
