Position PPS is looking for a FAE to deliver technical expertise and value to customers, sales, and other key stakeholders. The candidate should have a passion for enabling customer success, simplifying, and accelerating electrification testing, as well as learning and teaching others. In addition, the successful candidate will have direct experience as a FAE, or similar technical support role. This role reports to the Application Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To, The Following:
Collaborating with the sales team in pre‑sales activities including definition of test needs, interpretation of specification requirements, product and system configuration, product demonstrations and competitive positioning, and proposal preparation and presentation.
Provide excellent post sales application support, training, and commissioning of PPS test solutions to ensure customer success.
Support and engage with product line management, engineering, customer support, and manufacturing to ensure we provide high quality, industry leading and innovative products, and excellent technical support to our customers.
Work with marketing and product line management to create high quality, informative and productive customer facing content, product documentation, and training materials.

Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of firsthand work experience working with power electronics test equipment, test and measurement equipment, or power test equipment in R&D or production environment.
Strong technical, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
Ability to learn, collaborate, and teach others in a team environment.
This role requires excellent presentation, communication, and demonstration skills.
Critical skills include organization, coordination, and time management.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable with hands‑on wiring and working with high power equipment.
Familiarity with AC & DC loads, AC & DC sources, grid simulators, battery emulation, and related solutions.
Willingness to travel as required. The expected travel is 30%.
Stronger candidates would additionally be able to demonstrate:
Experience with networking and communication protocols e.g. TCP‑IP, Modbus/PLCs, CAN/CANFD and other emerging communication standards
Expertise in writing applications in LabVIEW, Python, C#, or similar languages.
Experience in conformance testing and test standards e.g. IEEE 1547, EMC (IEC 61000), DO/MIL-STD
Experience presenting live webinars or giving trade show talks.
