About The Role We're seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Sales Representative to lead sales efforts across New York state. This field‑based role is ideal for someone with experience in municipal, industrial, or heavy‑equipment sales who enjoys autonomy, travel, and hands‑on demonstrations.
This position must be based in the state of New York.
What You'll Be Doing
Prospect, engage, and build relationships with new and existing customers
Conduct in‑person visits, equipment walkarounds, and on‑site demonstrations
Work with municipalities, public works teams, contractors, and dealers to understand needs and recommend ODRA solutions
Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and support for bids/tenders
Manage the sales pipeline, follow‑ups, and customer engagement through an organized CRM process
Guide customers through the full sales cycle, including pricing, specifications, and delivery coordination
Provide post‑sale support and assist with service coordination when needed
Stay current on ODRA product updates, industry trends, and competitive landscape
What You Bring
3+ years of successful outside sales experience (municipal or industrial equipment preferred)
Strong track record of demos, territory management, and closing deals
Solid understanding of public procurement or contractor purchasing processes
Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage a multi‑state territory
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Must reside in the state of New York.
