Über
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available and constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission‑critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset with tools such as Ansible, oVirt, pfSense, FreeIPA, Docker, Jira, and Confluence. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. You Have
5+ years of experience with Linux
Experience in a system engineering or system administration role
Experience with Linux system administration and Virtual Machine Management
Experience with Jira ticketing and Confluence
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have
Experience with advanced troubleshooting of network, firewall, system, and application issues, including oVirt, FreeIPA, and pfSense
Experience in provisioning virtual infrastructure and allocating virtual infrastructure hosting software
Experience with container provisioning tools, including Docker
Experience with Apache NiFi deployments
Ability to use automation tools and Infrastructure-as-Code to manage installations, pipelines, and scripting
Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
IAT Level II Certification
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Compensation Salary is determined by location, experience, and contractual factors. The projected range for this role is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 annualized USD. This posting will close within 90 days of the Posting Date.
