To support high-volume manufacturing and IoT data initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build scalable cloud data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, and Airflow while leveraging SQL and Python expertise in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable cloud data pipelines for real-time data extraction from manufacturing systems Bridge OT/IT systems using industrial protocols to enhance data flow and operational efficiency Apply methodologies such as OEE, Six Sigma, and lean practices to drive improvements in yield and uptime Required qualifications Minimum 8-10 years of experience in data engineering or related fields Proficient in SQL and Python with hands-on experience in medallion/lakehouse architectures Experience with cloud platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure Familiarity with industrial protocols including OPC-UA, MQTT, and Modbus Knowledge of shop floor operations and production planning is a plus
