Description Our Client is a Fortune 500 company and one of the biggest global manufacturing companies operating in the fields of industrial systems, worker safety, health care, and consumer goods. The company is dedicated to creating technology and products that advance every business, improve every home and enhance every life. The product we are building helps automotive repair centres with inventory tracking, collision estimation, invoicing, and analytics. On our project the team focuses on new functionality analysis, development, maintenance, and rework of existing web applications.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Knowledge and experience with: Python, SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure OneLake, Data Factory, and Spark jobs
Experience with: NoSQL and MS SQL
Experience building Data Warehouse
Awareness of data processing flowcharting, relational and dimensional data modeling, and translation of logical models into physical models
Hands‑on experience with Azure and good knowledge of its sub‑components and services as a plus
Understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
Technical experience configuring and supporting database systems
Hands‑on database tuning and troubleshooting experience (indexing, statistics, query optimiser)
Experience with Agile projects
Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
Excellent communication and cooperation skills
Upper‑intermediate English (B2) or higher
Job responsibilities
Implement Data Warehouse using data models and build data pipelines in Azure Fabric
Conduct research and make recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards to support procurement and development efforts
Install and configure database components and ensure access, consistency, and integrity
Monitor, optimise and allocate physical data storage for all database systems
Scale and optimise performance of database systems
