Collaborating closely with development teams, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for software functionality and performance in a remote role focused on federal environments.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality and prevent defect leakage during software releases
Create and maintain test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and execution reports supporting compliance and audit requirements
Required qualifications
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation engineering
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Jmeter, Axe by Deque, and Postman
Understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and shift-left testing practices
