To support revenue cycle optimization in a remote environment, the Data Scientist, Revenue Cycle will analyze large datasets, develop predictive models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and patient experience.
Key responsibilities
Partner with revenue cycle and operational leaders to drive data-informed decision making across billing, coding, and collections
Analyze datasets to identify revenue leakage and optimization opportunities, and develop predictive models to improve cash collections and reimbursement outcomes
Build dashboards and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators and translate complex data findings into actionable insights for stakeholders
Required qualifications
Master's degree with 0+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
Experience with data analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C/C++, and strong experience with SQL and relational databases
Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle data, EHR systems, claims, billing, and payer workflows
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and modern data science tools preferred
