General Manager Duties
As a Front Line Manager you will:
- Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.
- Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
- Evaluate work performance of subordinates and makes recommendations for outstanding performance recognition and/or disciplinary action.
- Give advice, counsel or instruction to employees on work and administrative matters.
- Interview candidates for positions within the organization/unit and recommend appointment, promotion or reassignment to such positions.
- Hear and resolve complaints from employees, refer group grievances and/or more serious unresolved complaints as appropriate.
- Effect minor disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands, recommend other actions in more serious cases.
- Identify developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training.
- Initiate ways to improve production, work processes and/or to increase the quality of the work directed.

- Oversees the execution of program activities within an assigned functional area (Corrective Action Oversight, Policy and Training, or Reporting and Systems Management) ensuring alignment with enterprise audit and risk management objectives and established operational requirements.
- Manages the implementation and tracking of Planned Corrective Actions (PCAs), ensuring audit findings and identified risks are addressed through documented actions, clearly assigned responsibilities, and established timelines. Reviews supporting documentation and monitors progress to ensure timely completion and appropriate resolution.
- Oversees the application and maintenance of policies, procedures, and training initiatives supporting enterprise audit and risk management. Ensures staff understanding and consistent application of policy requirements and supports the delivery and tracking of training activities to promote compliance and program effectiveness.
- Supervises reporting and systems management activities that support the collection, tracking, and reporting of audit findings, risks, and corrective actions. Ensures data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, and identifies issues related to data quality or system functionality.
- Monitors program performance and operational metrics within assigned areas, identifies trends, risks, or gaps, and elevates significant issues to senior management. Recommends process improvements and supports the implementation of changes to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
