*Cymetryc Implementation Specialist*
Clinical Laboratory / LIS / Healthcare Software Validation
Cymetryc is growing, and we are looking for someone with clinical laboratory experience who wants to move into healthcare technology, software implementation and customer-facing project delivery.
*Role level:* Implementation Specialist or Senior Implementation Specialist, depending on experience
*About the Role*
This role is ideal for someone who understands the realities of day-to-day laboratory operations, instrumentation and LIS/LIMS implementations or upgrades, quality control, validation, and regulatory requirements, and is ready to apply that experience in a new way
As a Cymetryc Implementation Specialist, you will help hospitals, laboratories and healthcare systems implement Cymetryc, our testing and validation platform for clinical applications. You will guide customers through project setup, test planning, training, validation workflows, issue management and evidence collection.
You do not need to know Cymetryc on day one. We will train you. What we do need is someone who likes to solve problems. Someone who is curious, organized, adaptable, practical, customer-focused and willing to learn new technology, including AI-enabled tools that help improve testing and implementation processes.
*What You’ll Do*
* Lead and support Cymetryc implementation projects for laboratories, healthcare systems and clinical application teams.
* Work directly with customers to understand their workflows, testing needs, implementation timelines and validation requirements.
* Use Cymetryc and our internal tools to build organized, practical test plans for customer projects.
* Help customers structure test cases, expected results, execution evidence, screenshots, defects, retesting and approvals.
* Provide guidance on instrumentation middleware and LIS configuration validation, including: wet and dry testing, workflow testing, regression testing, calculation and rule based testing, evidence requirements and issue management.
* Train customer teams on how to use Cymetryc and how to manage testing more effectively.
* Participate in customer meetings, project check-ins, training sessions and working sessions.
* Track project progress, document decisions, follow up on open items and communicate risks or blockers.
* Work closely with our team to improve implementation templates, training materials, reusable test assets and customer resources.
* Learn and use new technology, including AI-enabled tools, to help customers improve testing structure, documentation and project delivery.
* Represent STS and Cymetryc with professionalism, warmth, responsiveness and a genuine commitment to helping customers succeed.
*What We’re Looking For*
* Experience working in a clinical laboratory, blood bank, pathology, LIS, LIMS, EHR, healthcare IT or healthcare software environment.
* A practical understanding of clinical laboratory workflows, assays, instrumentation, quality control, wet testing, dry testing and validation.
* Experience with systems such as Epic Beaker, Sunquest, Clinisys WinPath, MEDITECH, Cerner, SCC Soft, WellSky or similar platforms is helpful.
* Experience with LIS/LIMS implementation, instrument implementation, system upgrades, interface testing, analyzer testing, validation testing, workflow testing or go-live support is a plus.
* Experience creating or executing test cases, validation trackers, issue logs, SOPs, training materials or implementation documentation is helpful.
* Customer-facing experience, training experience, project coordination experience or team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
* MLS, MT or MLT or equivalent certification is helpful, but practical clinical systems understanding, strong communication and willingness to learn matter more than the credential itself.
*You’ll Probably Like This Role If You Are*
* Curious and like learning new technology.
* Comfortable explaining things to other people.
* Organized enough to keep projects, details and follow-ups moving.
* Practical and calm when customers are overwhelmed.
* Interested in improving how healthcare teams test and validate systems.
* Willing to ask questions, solve problems and figure things out.
* Someone who enjoys both people and process.
* Ready to move beyond the bench while still using your laboratory knowledge.
*You May Not Like This Role If You Prefer*
A highly structured role where every step is already defined.
Working only on assigned tasks without customer interaction.
Staying entirely within traditional bench laboratory work.
Avoiding ambiguity, change or new technology.
Waiting for someone else to tell you exactly what to do next.
