Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Component Design Engineer will design reactor structures and components, coordinate with engineering teams, and perform analysis to develop equipment design solutions. Key responsibilities
Design solutions for reactor structures and components, including rotatable plug assembly equipment Coordinate inputs from engineering and project teams to develop design solutions Perform scoping analysis and calculations for various design options and lead design reviews
Required qualifications
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience Extensive experience with equipment and component design, familiar with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III Experience writing detailed design specifications and knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) Proficiency in finite element stress analysis and tools like ANSYS Familiarity with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
