The Manager, Business Intelligence and Data Insights (internally known as the leader of Intel‑Agents!) will lead and motivate a team of analysts within Parts Town’s Insights and Intelligence organization. The I&I team focuses on delivering strategic analysis, business intelligence, data products, and architecture that drive actionable insights both inside and outside the organization. You will help lead transformation and change that drives business results, improves customer profitability, market penetration, and operational efficiencies. You will act as a thought partner and strategic consultant, collaborating with department leaders to shape strategic direction, discover key opportunities, and influence action that solves complex business problems. Typical Day
Serve as a thought leader and strategic advisor by providing data‑driven insights to improve performance across all business functions. Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions including discovery, data ingestion, data transformation, and front‑end development. Mentor and support team members while supporting the road map and direction of the I&I team. Design and implement solutions to measure performance against strategic initiatives, identify emerging trends, and surface opportunities. Manage multiple high‑impact analytics projects, ensuring timelines are clear and deadlines are met. Support the development of data products and infrastructure that enable Parts Town to harness data in more powerful ways. Act as a liaison for technical resources to translate business needs into actionable requirements. Continuously enhance system integration, analytics processes, training, education, team structure, skill sets, and reporting tools to drive change and shift to a more strategic, proactive, and actionable insight approach. Qualifications
BS/BA in business, finance, statistics, computer science, information systems, or related fields. 5 years of experience in an analytical role with strong communication skills. 5 years of experience developing within business intelligence tools to retrieve, visualize, and interpret data (Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.). Experience working with big data management tools (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.). Experience working with data and driving insights using ERP data; SAP experience is a plus. Knowledgeable about data architecture best practices and experience transforming and maintaining data for analytical use cases. Expert proficiency in querying data using relational database management systems. Experience utilizing AI solutions while maintaining safety, integrity, and data privacy. Proficient at managing multiple priorities and comfortable with changing priorities and solving ad‑hoc business problems. Independent and resourceful with the ability to solve complex, analytical problems with little direction. A life‑long learner prepared to learn new tools and concepts quickly. Proven track record delivering results and the ability to coach and facilitate others in solving complex problems. Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence without authority. Passion for storytelling with visualization. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and adapts well to change. All‑star communicator with proven decision‑making skills. Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $104,259.50 – $155,750.41 annually, based on qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Profit‑sharing bonus and annual performance bonus, where applicable.
