NOTE: Local candidates strongly preferred. Non‑local candidates must relocate to Michigan at their own expense and follow the hybrid schedule (on‑site Wednesday & Thursday).
Description Business Analyst role providing excellent customer service supporting project and work request needs for several Agencies.
Responsibilities
Act as liaison between project stakeholders and facilitate and elicit requirements, perform process modeling to develop strategy and requirements for enhancements and related projects.
Participate as a critical member of the Agency Services Business Analyst team, contributing to operational activities for related work requests.
Champion agency compliance with policies and practices, quickly gain a working understanding of applicable constraints and enablers to guide the client to project success.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Self‑directed, well organized, confident in building relationships, quick to learn new assignments, flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
Strong facilitation experience for requirements elicitation; experience with gap‑fit analysis and program performance analytics.
Efficient in helping EGLE navigate constraints and enablers for successful projects and work requests.
Qualifications – Experience
7+ years Business Analyst experience conducting business process review, requirements elicitation and documentation, including process modeling.
2+ years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use.
2+ years supporting development or compliance of statements of work and/or other work agreements/contracts.
5+ years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s).
2+ years working directly with senior management to facilitate discussions for strategy, road‑mapping, consensus building.
1 year experience working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations.
Interview Process First round is virtual. Second round requires on‑site presence.
