We are a broadline distributor with a cash n carry operation delivering quality food, service and custom solutions to foodservice operators and restaurants throughout the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut markets.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team, while driving new business opportunities. This position oversees both sales development and sales management funtions
Sales Manager offers a team-oriented individual the opportunity to be responsible for developing and administering the Company’s sales objectives in foodservice, ensuring that product is sold in an orderly manner that meets volume objectives while maximizing revenue.
Responsibilities
Manage and support a team or sales representatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendor partners
Work with Marketing and Customer Service to ensure consistent lead flow.
Oversee, review and administer the development of sales forecasts developed by the sales force.
Align with operations delivery days in markets to meet and exceed customer expectations
Assist with the recruiting and onboarding of new sales representatives
Prepare weekly, monthly sales reports
Represent the company at sales meetings,conferences, food shows and other events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Culinary experience preferred
4+ years' of sales management experience
5+ years' of experience in sales
Experience managing sales development and sales representatives
Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
Knowledge of the greater New York Metro market and upstate New York
Ability to travel
