JOB SUMMARY This is an Information Security Analyst II position on the DOR Security Center Operations Team located in the Information Systems Program in Tallahassee. The role involves monitoring cyber‑security controls to safeguard the Department’s data and infrastructure, responding to information‑security incidents, assessing risks, reviewing violations of computer‑security procedures, and supporting the integration, testing, operations, and maintenance of systems security. Strong customer‑service, time‑management, and communication skills are essential; the position requires both independent and team work.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Two years of experience in cybersecurity, networking, SOC operations, or similar hands‑on technical work involving customer support, network, and security.
Experience with SIEM platforms, endpoint security tools, and network‑security concepts.
Experience with incident‑response processes and cybersecurity frameworks.
One year of experience with vulnerability scanning.
One year of experience monitoring web traffic.
PREFERENCES
Experience with a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool.
Experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and common threat vectors.
Experience with firewall traffic analysis.
One year of experience with Identity and Access Management solutions.
One year of experience with Office 365 Mail Flow/Rule Administration.
One year of experience in a security‑operations role.
Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, CCNA, or CISA.
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio).

Position located in Tallahassee, Florida.
No telework eligibility.

SALARY Tenure is salaried at $50,000 annually (tentative).
