Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality of materials used in our products, the workmanship, and compliance with both our specifications and customer requirements. The QA/QC Inspector will play a key role in implementing and maintaining our Quality Management System to achieve planned results, ensuring the quality of finished goods, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in line with ISO 9001 standards.
Essential Duties
Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
Conduct thorough shop inspections to maintain adherence to quality specifications.
Identify and report non-conformances and work with the team to implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a QA/QC role.
Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify quality issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements / Skills
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus, with experience potentially substituting for education.
1-3 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in an ISO 9001:2015 environment.
Knowledge of quality systems, processes, procedures, specifications, and tolerances.
Proficiency in using measuring equipment, mathematical skills, analytical thinking, and detail orientation.
Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, multitask, and work with minimal supervision.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel up to 10%.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, bend, stand, and walk for 8-12 hours per day.
Regular lifting/moving up to 15 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
Compliance with safety/PPE requirements and ability to work in a production environment occasionally.
Ability to pass drug tests and background checks.
