A reputable company in the US is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team on a full‑time basis. Key Responsibilities Install and configure database software Monitor database system performance and troubleshoot any issues Develop and implement backup and recovery plans Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups, updates and patches Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop and maintain databases Perform regular maintenance tasks such as database optimization and data purging Create user accounts with appropriate permissions based on business needs Monitor database activity to identify potential problems or issues Provide technical support for database‑related inquiries from team members Requirements Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role minimum of 2 years Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred Knowledge of database management systems: eg., Oracle, MySQL Familiarity with SQL language for writing queries and stored procedures Experience with data backup, recovery and security protocols Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Salary We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this position. Location This position is based in the US. Visa sponsorship will be provided for qualified candidates if needed.
