Inside Sales Development Account Manager, Level 2 Responsibilities include: Source new sales opportunities via inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting, focusing on A and B accounts. Engage and build rapport with prospects through calls, email, and social outreach. Understand customer needs and requirements through research, discovery, and qualification, driving leads through early sales stages. Set appointments with new customers for the Business Development partner(s). Route qualified leads and opportunities to Business Development partner(s) for further qualification, development, and closure. Follow up post meetings to determine outcomes and next steps. Co‑manage sales territories, develop territory plans and strategies with Business Development partners to achieve new customer and revenue growth targets. Build the opportunity funnel via research and identify target accounts, key prospects, and opportunities at each account within territories. Maintain and expand database/funnel of target accounts, prospects, and opportunities. Partner with Marketing and Business Development on initiatives, territory targets, and goals. Track and manage activity in Salesforce, CRM, and High Velocity; maintain all account, opportunity, contact, and lead records. Leverage technology and data tools to research and identify prospects. Meet or exceed quarterly meetings and RFP targets, along with other new business metrics set with manager. Attend trade shows and other events as required. Leverage social selling techniques to reach clients via digital channels. Establish, nurture, and grow client relationships at appropriate level. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years inside sales/sales development experience (lead nurturing, qualification, prospecting, appointment setting). CRO/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, including knowledge of Phase I‑IV clinical research and development. Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM and sales automation tools, including auto‑dial systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Adaptable, professional, and motivated with an understanding of the sales cycle. Ability to listen and identify customer pain points and challenges. Organized, multitasking, prioritizing, with strong time management under fast‑paced conditions. Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships. Proficiency in MS‑Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field. Compensation Annual salary range: $50,500.00 – $100,000.00 (United States). Compensation may vary based on experience, performance, and education. Benefits package is offered based on location. Location United States of America
