Associate Business Applications Operations Analyst This position is responsible for executing the incident management process for supported enterprise-wide proprietary business applications, business services, and integrations. It involves monitoring the health of production applications and ensuring services run seamlessly. The role requires utilizing problem‑solving skills to investigate the root cause of unplanned application interruptions while providing user assistance and issue resolution. The analyst works in a fluid environment and continuously prioritizes tasks. Responsibilities Investigate and analyze application data, business processes, and source code to troubleshoot issues and provide appropriate resolution. Evaluate multiple courses of action for issue resolution and determine the most appropriate solution. Maintain open and timely communication with pertinent parties during issue resolution. Take a lead role in data manipulation and correction when required to support business utilization of the application. Alert team leaders and department management of issues with high impact on normal operation of business applications. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate individuals or teams based on established guidelines and procedures. Work closely with development team members as needed, assisting in detailed research work in production environments. Provide a high‑level customer service showing empathy for customer needs. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge regarding recurring problems and corrective measures. Participate in the development and ongoing maintenance of team documentation. Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant supported applications, technical implementation, servers, network, and security. Maintain flexibility in schedule to accommodate business needs. Contribute to business unit goals and objectives and adhere to defined standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. One to three years of experience in a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain positive work relationships. Ability to handle multiple tasks and provide thorough, understandable resolutions with excellent customer service to end‑users. Strong teamwork skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with break‑fix issues that directly impact end‑user utilization. Ability to manage problem‑solving activity efficiently and effectively. Commitment to the utilization of defined standards and processes. General knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software operations and principles. Understanding of technical infrastructure including servers, databases, networks, and security. Logical thinking and the ability to analyze across technology boundaries. Aptitude for continuous learning and improvement. Desirable: Understanding of CSS, HTML, XML, and XSLT; C#, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular; responsive web design; IIS; and NT/WINDOWS operating systems.
