At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Sr. Network Administrator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Network Admin joining our team to install, operate and maintain network infrastructure, troubleshoot any issues, and quickly remedy the problem.
HOW A NETWORK ADMIN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Provides ongoing support for the functionality and efficiency of computer systems and networks Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability Trains users, maintains, creates and deletes user accounts Develops and enhances processes and technical documentation, creates back-up procedures, test plans, and reports WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology Security + or equivalent DoD 8570 certification required Requires a good working knowledge of network administration and information systems Must closely follow network protocols and methodology Preferred Skills:

The likely salary range for this position is $76,565 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
