Job Summary:
CF Industries has many exciting and challenging opportunities at its world class production facility in Yazoo City Mississippi. Technicians in this position are responsible for maintaining, repairing and replacing physical equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility.
Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
CF Industries has many exciting and challenging opportunities at its world class production facility in Yazoo City Mississippi. Technicians in this position are responsible for maintaining, repairing and replacing physical equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility.
SUCCESSFUL INCUMBENTS WILL HAVE:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Academic degree, certifications and/or licenses are preferred.
Experience in a chemical or manufacturing plant - technical knowledge and/or related work experience.
Experience with DCS & PLC controls highly desirable.
Advanced knowledge of electronic instrumentation repair.
Ability to understand flow meter principles.
Ability to read and understand P&ID's.
POSITION SCOPE/CONTRIBUTION:
Technicians install, troubleshoot, service and perform preventative maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility. The technician will meet this responsibility in a safe manner by understanding and adhering to standard I & E procedures and techniques. Technicians in this position must be available and willing to work call-out and overtime.
