Schedule & On-Call Expectations Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM Sunday: Closed On-Call Rotation (Required): Approximately 1 night per week or every other week Weekend on-call rotation every 6–8 weeks Includes after-hours emergency calls and farm calls, supporting both large and small animal patients
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred Experience with large animals (equine, livestock) strongly preferred Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (LVT, RVT, CVT) encouraged to apply
Key Skills & Attributes
Strong interest in mixed animal veterinary medicine (large and small animal care) Confidence handling both companion animals and livestock Comfortable working in a clinical setting and on farms/rural environments Ability to remain calm and effective during emergency and on-call situations Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Willingness to learn, adapt, and support a wide variety of cases
