Joining a collaborative team, the full-time Linux Systems Administrator II will manage and maintain server operating systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security while providing Level 2 support for complex technical issues, with options for hybrid or remote work arrangements. Key responsibilities
Manage and maintain server operating systems, hardware, and core infrastructure for optimal performance and security Monitor systems proactively to identify issues and implement improvements Provide Level 2 support for technical issues and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical operations
Required qualifications
2+ years of relevant work experience or post-secondary education in a related field Experience with CentOS/RHEL Linux systems administration and basic Linux utilities Proficiency in scripting within a Linux environment and command-line interface (CLI) usage Familiarity with monitoring performance, patching, backup & restore, and SSL certificate management of Linux servers Knowledge of TCP/IP LAN networking principles and application protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, FTP)
