Building Services The Role This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to progress their career while working on a diverse range of projects across sectors including education, commercial, retail, industrial, and leisure. Working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary consultancy environment, you will gain exposure to a broad variety of projects and clients. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing building services systems that help buildings operate efficiently, sustainably, and safely. Key Responsibilities Work as part of a design team delivering detailed mechanical building services designs. Liaise closely with internal and external project teams, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors. Attend project and technical meetings. Ensure designs comply with current legislation, regulations, and health and safety requirements. Advise clients and project teams on energy efficiency, sustainability, and carbon reduction strategies. Design site-specific mechanical systems and equipment.
