This role serves as a key techno‑functional lead for the Hollow Metal Door Strategic Business Unit, responsible for the overall health, optimisation, and integration of core business applications across multiple manufacturing plants and distribution centres. Experience with manufacturing ERP systems, order‑to‑cash processes, and system integration is required. The analyst defines, analyses, develops, tests, and maintains ERP, custom, and third‑party software applications, and drives data analytics, system integrations, and emerging AI tools to improve operational efficiencies.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorised to work in the United States. The company will not sponsor employment visas.
Hybrid Work This role offers a dynamic hybrid model combining in‑person collaboration with remote work flexibility. Specific details will be provided during the hiring process.
What You Will Do
Interact and partner with key business partners to drive business initiatives and optimise system usage and best practices within existing system functionality.
Provide tier‑2 & 3 techno‑functional support for key ERP systems and related manufacturing applications across the Strategic Business Unit.
Define practical business system solutions that drive standardisation within the business work streams.
Ensure the "digital thread" from order entry to shop‑floor completion is seamless.
Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, or SSRS, translating complex manufacturing data into actionable insights for Plant Managers and SBU leadership.
Identify and implement AI‑driven use cases such as predictive maintenance alerts, automated data validation, or intelligent demand forecasting to improve SBU productivity.
Assist in scoping and executing large technology projects, including facility expansions, system upgrades, and M&A integrations.
Own functional tactical planning for upgrades and releases with the software vendors.
Lead Unit Testing (UT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes.
Create and maintain high‑quality functional design documents (FDDs) and technical specifications.
Play an active role supporting continuous improvement events, providing a combined view of business and system processes.
Provide application training and assistance with general troubleshooting support.
Maintain documentation of recommended business system configurations, process flows, and work instructions for key business processes.
Partner with matrixed IT and business teams on changes, general support, and roll‑outs.
What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, information technology or related field.
5+ years of proven experience working within large manufacturing or distribution operations.
5+ years of experience supporting, implementing, and working with an enterprise‑level ERP.
In‑depth knowledge of business functions, heavily emphasising manufacturing, warehouse management, and supply‑chain processes.
Experience with at least 3 of the 5 core ERP module areas: Order Management and Product Configurators, Master Planning, Production Control, Transportation Management, Warehouse/Inventory Management, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable.
Demonstrated experience supporting major and minor ERP upgrades and implementations.
Experience developing comprehensive business requirements, functional design documents, completing impact assessments, and contributing to business cases that identify value of change.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others in person and remotely.
Excellent communication skills at all levels. Proven ability to lead and communicate orally, in written documents, and in formal presentations.
Team‑player, change agent, and customer‑driven mentality.
Analytical approach to problem‑solving, solid conceptual skills, willingness to learn, sense of urgency, and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
Strong work ethic and results orientation.
Ability to successfully participate in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Solid understanding of data integrity and audit/SOX compliance procedures.
Experience working with and training AI agents to improve business processes and productivity.
Applicable techno‑functional knowledge with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is a big plus.
Basic familiarity with relational databases (MS‑SQL, DB2/400) and on‑prem and cloud concepts.
Understanding of integrations (APIs, middleware platforms) used to connect different business systems.
Experience and understanding of cyber‑security best practices in manufacturing operations.
Comfortable using SQL, Power BI and other tools for ad‑hoc data analysis.
Comfortable working with project‑management tools and Azure DevOps for planning and documentation.
Ability to lead and manage small projects at the sites.
Experience with DriveWorks and Merlin MES software is a plus.
Experience in the hollow metal door or steel fabrication industry, including knowledge of products and custom configurations, is a plus.
Travel required up to 20%.

Compensation
Base salary range: $130,000 – $154,000 (actual amount depends on experience and other factors).
Bonus eligible.
