Über
Support the development and evolution of the data warehouse and BI platform.
Partner with the BI Manager, Data and BI Engineers, Program Managers, and Analysts to build a best‑in‑class suite of tools and reporting mechanisms, delivering salient, insightful data directly into key business functions.
Design and implement modernized ETL and data‑processing solutions using cloud‑based services (e.g., S3, Redshift) and deprecate legacy on‑premise solutions (Oracle).
Conduct continual performance tuning and capacity planning for future growth.
Apply broad working knowledge in related disciplines to create integrated technical innovations and solutions for complex business situations.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
Strong understanding of Classical Data Warehousing, Data Structures, Data Modeling, and Data Profiling.
Expertise in advanced SQL.
Experience with one of Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with ETL processes.
Experience with GCP BigQuery.
Experience with BigData ecosystems.
Nice to Have
Experience with Spark.
Experience with AWS or other cloud computing services.
Knowledge of Kafka for event streaming and real‑time data pipelines.
Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
