Senior HVAC Engineer – Data Center Market We are seeking a high-energy Senior HVAC Engineer to drive HVAC design solutions for our Data Center clients. You will lead Building Mechanical team members, conduct field investigations, interface with clients & vendors, size and select equipment, and prepare construction design packages.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and layout of HVAC systems for data center facilities.
Develop design criteria for HVAC systems including general comfort, temperature/humidity control, pressurization, and clean room requirements.
Create conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations, P&ID development, and general arrangements.
Layout ductwork systems based on P&IDs.
Prepare final design documents: specifications, sequences of operation, piping layout, and construction deliverables for systems such as chilled water and cooling water.
Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
Mentor less experienced staff.
Required Qualifications
At least 15 years’ experience designing HVAC systems.
Professional Engineering License.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
Experience in designing plumbing/utility systems.

Compensation Base salary range: $120,400.00 to $158,025.00. Pay is determined by location and other factors.
