Role Overview The Senior Manager – Sales will be a strategic revenue partner to the CEO, responsible for converting qualified inbound opportunities into high-value, long-term client engagements. This role sits at the intersection of leadership, consultative selling, and commercial execution. You will own the inbound revenue engine — managing discovery, shaping commercial strategy, driving executive-level conversations, and ensuring disciplined follow-through to closure. This is a consultative, impact-oriented sales role for someone who values substance over scripts. You’ll own your pipeline end-to-end, build trusted relationships across the F&A ecosystem, and contribute directly to durable, long-term revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Build a Strong Pipeline: Source, qualify, and nurture a consistent flow of prospects that fit our F&A profile
Drive the Sales Cycle: Lead opportunities from initial contact through pricing, negotiation, and close
Ecosystem Networking: Develop and strengthen referral and partnership relationships with accountants, advisors, and service providers to create bidirectional referral streams that expand Numera’s reach and partner value
Discovery & Needs Analysis: Conduct structured conversations to uncover client needs and align Numera solutions to business goals
Solution Positioning: Communicate how Numera’s accounting and tax offerings solve client pain points and add long-term financial clarity
CRM Ownership: Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and deal activity in Streak CRM
CEO Partnership: Work directly with the CEO on key sales conversations, commercial negotiations, and high-value deal closures.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with delivery, finance, and onboarding teams to ensure seamless transition and strong client retention.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of sales experience, with a strong record in consultative selling, preferably in professional services, accounting, or financial solutions
Demonstrated ability to drive full-cycle sales with startups and SMBs
Demonstrated history of relationship-building with referral partners and cultivating long-term business relationships
Standard office equipment required (computer, phone)
Occasional travel may be required for conferences (up to 10%)
