XNRGY is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator with deep expertise in wireless networking to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network solutions. This role is heavily focused on designing and supporting high-performance Wi‑Fi environments, including RF planning, access point deployment, and optimization of 802.11 (Wi‑Fi 5/6/6E) networks. You will be responsible for both new installations and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring all implementations are carried out efficiently with minimal disruption to client operations.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in wireless technologies, RF fundamentals, and routing/switching, with a proven ability to diagnose complex connectivity and performance issues across both wired and wireless environments.
You will partner closely with engineers, project managers, and support teams to design, implement, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and highly available network infrastructures, with a particular focus on wireless performance, coverage optimization, and seamless client connectivity.
Responsibilities
Help implement LAN/WAN network solutions across client environments
Deploy and configure network infrastructure, including:
Switches
Routers
Firewalls
Wireless systems
Perform network upgrades and new installations with minimal downtime
Support network expansion and upgrades (Wi‑Fi 6/6E rollouts)
Perform wireless site surveys and optimization
Troubleshoot latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues
Configure and maintain VPN solutions (site-to-site and remote access)
Collaboration with internal teams and client stakeholders on project delivery
Run network drops and perform port configuration
Handle day-to-day network requests such as:
troubleshooting network connectivity
running network drops and port configuration
setting static IPs and/or DHCP leases on manufacturing equipment
responding to tickets and network requests
help install and configure new equipment
Required Skills & Experience
Must have strong knowledge of routing and switching and Wi‑Fi technology
Must have strong understanding of:
RF fundamentals (SNR, Interface, channel design)
Wireless standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
Understanding of network security and encryption principles
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within team environments
3-5+ years of network administration experience
Proven hands‑on expertise in:
Enterprise Wi‑Fi deployments and troubleshooting
Routing and switching in complex environments
Preferred Skills
Extensive experience with Fortinet platforms
Strong understanding of wireless (Wi‑Fi) technologies
Strong troubleshooting mindset (layered approach: RF - network - client)
Ability to communicate with non-technical users
Familiarity with physical infrastructure:
Cat5e / Cat6 cabling
Fiber optics
Wireless access points
Experience in client-facing office and factory environments
