AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting all data centers and their servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. Overview You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply‑chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other roles to deliver safe and secure infrastructure at the lowest cost. Key Responsibilities Coordinate consolidated templates and insourced and trade models of our Data Centers, utilizing Revit and Navisworks to maintain standards. Work independently and in team environments with internal groups, external suppliers, consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
Be self‑motivated and work within the BIM Design group and other teams.
Update and modify existing models, studies, and construction documents.
Assist with creating, maintaining, and enforcing BIM templates and standards.
Audit project deliverables and monitor quality.
Lead design coordination meetings with other trades for clash detection and resolution.
Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.
Assist the project team with information exchange between internal and external customers.
Provide coordination support for information requests during construction phases.
Record and report key metrics to management.
Travel to Data Center sites for engineering evaluations and surveys once or twice a year.
Offer creative, out‑of‑the‑box solutions, and maintain a positive attitude.
A day in the life Collaborate across disciplines to refine data‑center designs, create detailed models, drawings, specifications, and update leadership on design changes. Engage in design discussions, review feedback, and adjust designs for efficiency and quality.

Basic Qualifications
Experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission‑critical facilities, especially data centers.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years with Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination and 3+ years producing construction drawings for mission‑critical facilities.
Experience with Navisworks.
Experience with Autodesk Forma or ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of regional building codes and regulations.
Knowledge of commercial or industrial power systems or mechanical systems.
Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment.
Experience using web‑based and other software tools for calculation and data processing.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
