About the Role We are so much more than a parts store and we are looking for great talent to join our NAPA family as a Counter Sales Associate. As the face of the retail store, you will be the go‑to person for customers entering our stores, providing automotive solutions and support. Key Responsibilities Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer customer questions. Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our NAPA Store. Show customer focus and high energy in our fast‑paced stores. Welcome retail customers into our stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience. Operate technology including computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system. Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Previous experience in a parts store, automotive industry, or willingness to learn all things automotive. High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Love fast‑paced retail environments. Great listening skills and empathy for customers. Background or passion for automotive industry (heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, dealership) is a plus. Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision. Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus. ASE certification – a plus. What We Offer Competitive pay starting at $18.50 per hour with progression within 12 months.
