This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the office.
What You’ll Do:
Consult with individuals and groups to analyze current processes, system usage, problems, and priorities. Identify and develop potential solutions and enhancements, feasibility of options, data requirements, and effort estimates.
Create business requirements documents, process documents and specifications that support configuration and programming needed to meet end-user needs.
Provide technical and operational support for the implementation of business systems.
Create and maintain training materials and conduct training to support standard system functionality and enhancements.
Provide business system support to end-users on standard functionality, customizations, and system enhancements.
Complete and document unit, system, integration, and regression testing as part of delivering technology solutions.
Participate in concurrent projects throughout the software development life cycle while meeting deadlines and adhering to strict quality standards.
Further the goals and positive, professional image of the IT Department by conducting business with other MEPPI departments, consultants, suppliers, etc., in a timely and cooperative manner.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or equivalent education and experience.
Basic knowledge of database design to support the creation of customized functionality.
Intermediate programming and troubleshooting skills.
Advanced interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required to communicate with employees and vendors.
Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Advanced computer skills with emphasis on MS Office products and ERP systems.
